Life was to be perfect when we get back to Konoha.

Naruto and Sasuke should be closer since they learnt many lessons on teammate and risked their lives for each other, Sakura should be tougher as she seen the real world, and we should be stronger as a team since I unlocked my nature release, last level of kekkei genkai and since Sasuke got his sharingan and since we all generally, well, got stronger.

Ha.

Sakura is still flirty old Sakura, I still have weak control over chakra, nature release, Zen'yu and basically everything. Sasuke still old emo douche bag. And Naruto...

Oh man, Naruto.

He acts like he has something to prove! Like he has to prove to be better than Sasuke! And he's screwing up all our crappy D-ranked missions!

So far, in just one day, he managed to pull herbs instead of weeds and get dragged off by a dog to a mine field. He almost falls off a waterfall but was saved by Sasuke and my water manipulation skills. Now, we are in a farm in the farther parts of Konoha and we are suppose to water the crops as it hasn't been raining in the past few days.

Seeing Sasuke pick up a bucket and begin watering a few crops, Naruto's eyes narrowed and grabbed two of the biggest buckets. "I'll water half of the crops before teme even finishes his bucket! I'm going to be the next hokage, and my name is Uzumaki Naruto, believe it!"

Before we could do anything, Naruto stopped tilting due to the weight of the buckets. "Woah, woah!"

And splash.

"NARUTOOOO!" Sakura shrieked.

All of us were soaked from head to toe. The poor farmer and his wife has their doubts about us, fidgeting.

"Actually, Kakashi-san, I feel that it will be actually no problem if we requested for another genin team," the farmer said uncomfortably.

Uncle looked just as uncomfortable.

"Ram, tiger, dog," I muttered, forming the required hand seals. "Water style; rain no jutsu!"

A roll of thunder can be heard as dark clouds rolled. My eyes widened. Not a thunderstorm! Squeezing my eyes shut and clasping my eyes, I desperately forced my chakra to my hands, praying that the rain won't kill the crops.

The clouds began to fade and a light rain fell. The farmer and his wife smiled as the clouds started fading.

"Thank you so much," they said as they bowed. We bowed our heads and began walking off.

"You know," Uncle said as we finished reporting to hokage-sama. "The teamwork is too off. We should call it a day. I'll be off, Mika. Wait for me for dinner."

I nodded and followed the rest of the team who started walking off.

"Man," Naruto grumbled. "Such a day! I'll be getting ramen."

Sasuke stuffed his hands in his pocket, turning his head. "...Dope," he said as Naruto walked a few feet away. "You just want to get better to just become stronger than me."

"Why you teme!" Naruto whirled around, fuming before spinning his heels, mumbling, "Just you wait, Sasuke. Just you wait."

Sasuke scoffed. Sakura twirled a strand of her bubblegum hair, looking up her eyelashes and fluttering them, green eyes wide cheeks flushed as pink as her hair. "Sasuke-kun... Can we work on our teamwork?"

God.

Flirt.

Flirt.

Flirt.

I seethed. Girls are not suppose to be like that. Girls are humans themselves that can be respected and be recognized by their own efforts. Most importantly, girls can do better things then waste their energies on a boy they barely knew.

I was about to voice by thoughts when Sasuke spoke. "If you have time to flirt, you should be working on yourskills. You're as bad as Naruto."

Way to go, emo douche bag.

"Oh, scratch that. You're even worse than Naruto."

The look on Sakura's face. Man. Sakura, score zero. Mika, score one million.

He started walking away and then he paused, looking after over his shoulder, eyes locked with mine. "You coming?"

And that look on Sakura's face is now double the priceless value.

"Coming!" I ran to Sasuke's side and fell in pace with him. We walked in comfortable silence until we reached the training grounds. I practiced my nature releases while Sasuke practice his sharingan.

After I tried to the best of my abilities to heal both our wounds, we sat side by side, looking at the river before the cliff we perched at the edge of. I had my arms stretched out behind me while Sasuke had his arms on his knees, chin rested on his hands.

"You're my friend, right?" I asked my burning question. A wind blew, rustling our hair.

After a moment of emo silence, Sasuke spoke. "Not really. But you can consider me as one, if it pleases you."

He didn't consider me like a friend, but he allows me to consider him as a friend. Good.

"Nah," I lazily said. "But... you can be the closest thing to a friend I ever had."

"Good." By the side view, I could see the corners of his lip curving upwards. "I think I will too."

I smiled, standing up. "Oi, Sasuke. I'm going for a walk around Konoha."

He grunted in response as I forced chakra to my feet and chakra jumped to near the Academy. And perfect timing too. There was a boy dressed in black with strange purple make up on his face and a girl with four spiky blonde ponytails standing a few feet behind him. The boy had a firm grip on Konohamaru's shirt scruff, threathening him.

"Do you want to die, kid?" he snarled.

Konohamaru struggled and his eyes brimmed with unshed tears.

"Hey, pick on someone your own size!" I was swift, jumping beside Konohamaru and wacking the boy's arm before they registered. Konohamaru, now free, scrambled back to his 'Naruto-nii'. However, I wish I could say the same for me. Now that the boy had no one to grab, his fingers wrap tight around my neck.

"Alright," he growled. "I shall pick on someone my own size."

I choked, feeling them tighten and my airway contracting. I squirmed, hands shaking and trying to grab his arms, attempting to launch a good old shitoru chakra, but then the boy's eyes narrowed, further tightening his fingers around my throat.

A sudden stone was sharply thrown, hitting the boy's arm. The boy hissed, dropping his arm and releasing his grip on me. I spluttered, skidding backwards and touching my neck. That hurt. I glanced up into the red eyes of my savior.

Sasuke's sharingan stared back at me, tomoes spinning as he stared into my eyes. I self consciously shuffled my feet (god, I have a problem with eye contact, 'kay?) and glared at the boy who tried to throttle me.

"Next time," Sasuke said smoothly, jumping down beside me, eyes fading back to onyx. "Don't mess with my teammate."

My cheeks flared and I nudged Sasuke with my elbow. "Yo. Thanks."

"Hn."

The boy scowled and before he said more, a dark voice interrupted. "Kankurou, that's enough."

We glanced up and met the auqa eyes of a redhead with a tattoo with the kanji of heart on the side of his forehead. His black rimmed eyes narrowed and sand swayed around him.

"G-Gaara!" the boy, Kankurou, stammered. "W-we were just having fun! R-right, T-Temari?"

"Y-yeah," the girl named Temari said nervously. "Don't be angry, Gaara."

"Silence. One more time," Gaara's yes narrowed. "And I'll kill you."

Like seriously? What sort of a guy says to his teammate? "Hey!" I shouted. "Who the hell do you think you are, treating your friends that way? They've been prize jerks but you shouldn't be a douch- MMf!"

I turned, glaring at Sasuke who had his hand slapped over my mouth. Sasuke, making sure that I would shut up, slowly released his grip. Gaara stared at me, eyes hardening. Sand swirled and he suddenly appeared before me.

I took a step, hands slightly shaking.

"I am sorry for the actions of my friend," Gaara murmured.

My hands relaxed but my shoulders stayed stiffed, neck still throbbing.

"Suna shinobis, huh?" I mumbled, eyeing their headband, right hand glowing gold as I brought it to my neck, hissing when the wounds stinged. "Zen'yu. What you guys doing in Konoha?"

Kankurou's eyes narrowed. "None of your-" When shot that glare by Gaara, he hurriedly changed his tune. "For the chuunin exams."

"We shall take over leave now," Gaara said, turning, with Temari and Kankurou trailing after him.

"Baka," I growled, neck still hurting. "He was trying to kill me."

"Who?" a sudden voice asked, scaring Naruto and Sakura.

"Uncle," I muttered. "How nice of you to drop by."

"Ah, I try." His face grew serious again. "Now, what were you saying- Hey, what happened to your neck? Naruto? Sakura? Sasuke?"

Sakura shifted uncomfortably, Naruto scratched the back of his head, the three Academy squirts darted behind a corner and Sasuke stuffed his hands in his pockets. "A sand sannin. They said they're here for the chuunin exams."

"Oh yes, the chuunin exams." Uncle smiled. "I signed the three of you up!"

"Awesome!" Naruto shouted, pumping his fist in the air. "One step closer to being the new hokage!"

"Dobe," Sasuke muttered.

"Won't it be dangerous?" Sakura stammered.

"W-wait," all eyes fell on me. "What about me?"

Uncle stared at me, hesitating. "Mika....?"

"Yeah?"

"You know that you're the fourth teammate of team seven right?"

I impatiently nodded.

"And that you never joined the academy...?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Get on with it."

"I recently found out that fourth teammates are not allowed and so..."

"I can't go for the chuunin exams?" I groaned. "You're the worst."

Uncle shook his head. "You.... Have to be... Placed in a new team."

"WHAT?!!?"

"Huh?" Sasuke's eyes narrowed.

"Wha...?" Sakura's gasped.

Naruto's eyes widened. "No way..."

I shook my head, taking a few steps back. "Haha... You're kidding, right, Uncle?"

"He's not," an unfamiliar voice called. A gloved hand clamped on my shoulder.

I looked up, meeting strange coal eyes. This man had black hair tied into a ponytail and strange strands of hair falling around his face. He wore the standard jounnin attire and had his forehead protector tied around his wrist.

"Mika," Uncle said. "Meet your new sensei."

"Hitoru Hideki," this bizarre man grinned. "Mika, welcome to team eleven."

Oh god, you got to be kidding me.

Turns out on one was joking. Despite my screaming, kicking, trashing and fighting, I found myself in an unfamiliar training ground and artwork unfamiliar faces.

"Whoop, it's a girl," a girly voice said. This girl had chin length red hair with a bit of fringe messily fraying to the sides with dark green eyes. She wore a plain simple black shirt with white swirls of flames on it, forehead protector around her neck and a pair of simple jeans.

"Meh. At least this team instead gender based, with an equal number of both guys and girls," the other boy said. He looked a lot like the girl and he also has green eyes, except his dull brown hair was pulled back by a green bandana. His forehead protector was with his bandana and he wore a navy jumper and black pants with bandages around his left knee.

"What's your name?" the boy said. "I am Kitsune Daichi."

"I'm his sister," the girl said. "Kitsune Sora."

The Kistune clan, eh? Their clan was known for their fox transformation. You see the random foxes running around and you can bet it belongs to the Kitsunes.

"What's wrong?" the girl, Sora, smirked. "Cat gotcha tongue?"

I cleared my throat. "More like fox," I muttered. "The sky and the earth, eh?" I taunted, referring to their strange names.

Daichi looked away, face brightenening. Sora remained calm. "Eh. Sharp tongue. I like. The old teammate has a shell."

"What happened to him?" I asked, curious.

"He died," Sora said seriously. "He said that my fox transformation was stupid, so I killed him and I buried him-"

"Sora," Daichi groaned. "Seriously..."

"Mika," Hideki sensei patted my head. "Ignore the Kitsunes. Their tongues are sharp. We hadn't a third teammate because there was a uneven number in the academy."

"Virano Mika," I finally introduced. "Don't expect me to be enthu about being placed in a team. It was bad enough with team seven, now some weird team eleven..."

Daichi suddenly burst into laughter. "Exactly like what Kakashi sensei said."

"Don't worry," Sora cooed. "I won't expect you to be enthu. We just need you so we can join the chuunin exams. Just be a dead fish for all I care."

"Eh," Daichi shrugged. "I don't really care."

What living hell did Uncle get me in?
